About

The verifier has to be nobody’s vendor.

MarginSignal OS exists to answer one question no AI seller can credibly answer about itself: did it actually work?

Brandon Burdin, Founder of MarginSignal OS

Brandon Burdin

Founder & Principal Analyst

Brandon spent fifteen years in large-scale customer-service operations, including as a senior analyst at Verizon — the kind of environment where a metric that looks good on a dashboard and an outcome that is actually right are, routinely, two different things. Telling them apart, at scale, was the job.

He is also a caregiver to his father, a disabled veteran — which means he has sat on the receiving end of automated decisions about care and benefits, where “the system says” is not an acceptable final answer.

He built MarginSignal OS as the independent verifier of AI outcomes: a firm structurally incapable of grading its own homework, because it has no homework in the game. MarginSignal OS does not build, sell, or integrate AI, and holds no stake in any vendor it examines.

The structure

Neutral by construction, not by promise

No building, no selling

We do not build, sell, or integrate AI systems. A verdict never protects a product line, because there is no product line.

No stake in any vendor

No equity, board seats, or consulting fees from any party we examine. There is nothing for us to defend by softening a result.

Buyer-paid, verdict-decoupled

The party that consumes the verdict pays for it, and the fee is the same whether the answer is yes or no. The full independence structure →
